Police have confirmed that the victim is an 81-year-old male.
“Today, about 13:20 police in Mitrovica have admitted the information that on the street of Queen Teuta in his apartment, there has been found without signs of life to an 81-year-old male victim. Police investigators with the prosecutor's authorisation have launched investigations, as well as clarifying the circumstances of the case”, Police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Avni Zahi, has said.
He added that at the order of the prosecutor the lifeless body is sent to the IML for organisation.
