A day earlier (Monday) has started the first trial hearing against four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK), Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, after the Special Prosecutor established an indictment in 2020.

While today at The Hague tribunal is continuing this trial process, Telegrafi. com has received some opinions of the country's citizens on how they have expected this trial against four former KLA leaders.

A Bosnian community citizen, Amir Rrustemoviki, said he supports the KLA's fair fight.

I'm for the KLA, only for the KLA. For the Yasar family, I'll give you my life”, he said.

Ramiz Krajkova, meanwhile, said that the purpose of this court has seemed very meaningless to them from the beginning. He said the KLA war has been an example for all of Europe.

From the beginning it has seemed pointless, because it is not known who has laid hands on Serbia's Prosecution, or is it a reality. However, the KLA has also been an example in Europe and the world for the righteous war that has been fought. I believe in justice, and I think justice will finally come to its place”, he said.

So does citizen Avdi Shehu, who said this court is very unfair.

He believes this judicial process will triumph in favour of the KLA's fair war.

We've seen, we've followed, that court is very unfair. Very unfair. But we as a people are doing nothing to help the Saviors. Vallai this process would have been in favour of the KLA if there is justice. If there's justice, no justice, she's already seen. They're very innocent. The main people who have brought the release of this country”, he said.

While, Pajazi Ahmeti stressed that the court's judicial process is not fair at all.

They have fought peace. We're not going anywhere else to attack another country, but they're here, and we're protecting ourselves. Nothing else is behind, in this direction. ”...

Even, Zenel Ahmeti argued that all Albanian people are being tried in this court.

This is actually the judgment of all the Albanian people, the entire KLA. I'm asking and praying that they come out of the face, if we see”

Citizens, Margona Pepiqi said war has been fair and justice is known on whose side it was. “Of course, I expect justice, and soon justice” will come to light, she said.

Another citizen, Ismet Bulnjak, expects justice to be established.

I didn't find it surprising that we waited, that's why it was founded. I expect justice to come to life. For justice we have fought and given life, wealth, life. Justice must be backed by”, the citizen Bulnjak said, among other things.

Otherwise, the four former heads of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) -- Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi -- appeared before the court on Monday and pleaded innocent to all points of the indictment, with which the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, related to war crimes. The Act against them was confirmed in 2020, while they are in custody from November of that year.

According to the indictment, between March 1998 and September 1999, Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi and other members had the common goal of securing and exercising control over all Kosovo through methods including intimidation, mistreatment, violence and the unlawful elimination of those considered opponents.

Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office have been founded through a decision by the Kosovo Assembly in August 2015, and the mission has investigated the alleged crimes of former KLA members from January 1998 to December 2000.
