Belgu spent seven years at the Western London club even though he was loaned to Atletico Madrid for the first three seasons.
Courtois was given a hostile reception on his return to Stamford Bridge, with fans provoking him during the 2-0 win of the total holders (4-0) and chanting, "Trader."
The 30-year-old responded by making some excellent receptions by celebrating a Mark Cucurella blow before the break and seemed to kiss Real Madrid's coat at the end of the game right in front of local fans.
Courtois has now defended his actions and says he will not change his behavior as long as he continues to have such abuses against fans who once sang his name.
It's okay. As I said before, it's certainly a pity. I've spent four pretty years here, I'll never forget, I know I owe much to Chelsea. So obviously it's pathetic now is so”, he's done.
