US, Great Britain call for completion of UNMIK mission in Kosovo

“This is a positive moment that is the time for the UN to look at another role in Kosovo's supervision and that the mandate that has been so far is not necessary, so thanks to UNMIK's current commitment we must accept the fact that the mission has completed”, Jeffrey DeL Hoxha has declared.

The United Kingdom representative stated the same thing.

“Hails the Government's efforts to fight corruption, saying they support Resolution 1244 but conditions on the ground are unacceptable since 99, and time shows that a review of UNMIK's status and field adaptation” is needed, he has said.
