The Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Albanians in Skopje will place flowers at the memorial Memorial “Blaca 99”.
23 years ago, hundreds of thousands of defenseless Albanian civilians were expelled from their homes by Serbian police and military.
On 10 April from Hani Elez, they were sent by train to the village of Blace, located on the border between Kosovo and northern Macedonia.
Blace, remains one of the darkest memories of the people of Kosovo.
A large number of them migrated from there to European countries and farther away, seeking salvation from the terror of the Serbian state-run camera.
Meanwhile, some of them after the war ended returned to Kosovo.
In honor of those displaced from their homes in Blace, the memorial “Blaca 99” has been built.
