Neither the White House nor the Democratic Party have confirmed the information, but the announcement of the 80-year-old Biden candidacy is considered almost granted.
Biden's delay in making the official announcement has raised doubts among democratic voters if the 80-year-old president were able to serve a second four-year term.
It should be stressed that if he provides a second mandate to the American presidency, Joe Biden will be 86 when he leaves the White House.
In November 2021 and February 2023, medical tests that were submitted to him showed that he is “in good health situation”.
Republicans often question Benden's mental clarity, taking advantage of every opportunity presented by his occasional errors.
The current American president has statistics on his side, as in recent years most residents of the White House have secured a second mandate.
Polls show that Donald Trump, considered the favourite for the republican nomination, does not inspire Americans more than Joe Biden.
As such, the democratic president believes he can regain his republican predecessor, who is in trouble with the judiciary and has shared American public opinion.
However, it remains unknown what Joe Biden's chances would be against a much younger opponent.
Among the favourites for the republican nomination is Florida's 44-year-old governor, Ron Desandes, who has not officially declared his candidacy.
Desandes began today an international stopover tour of Japan, South Korea, Israel and Britain in an effort to improve its image of foreign policy.
