Director Ilir Murtezaj says there is a plan for regular registration of workers.
We've consistently got excuses that today's job has begun, the idea is by law to force at least one day before work to sign contracts”, he says of Klan Kosova.
But besides companies, ATK will also deal with those who give their land for housing construction.
When we have a goods trading transaction, a land with flats, this creates economic activity and profits should be taxed. So we have capital gains and in this case, the citizen who's not a business, is obliged to pay the tax in profit”, Murtesaj explains.
However, it says the challenge remains to reduce the number of inspectors, while conscripts have been preceded.
Last year we had 16 officials who retired, this year we have 17 officials who retire”, Murtezaj says.
However, the final goal of ATK is to encourage businesses to voluntarily pay their taxes, as the director says that “we are not followers running after fines, the idea is to meet obligations with self-adultation”.
In the first three months of the year, taxes worth over 1.5m euros have been collected, up from 33 controls in the construction sector.
