Association of Kosovo Prosecutors: Reactions to Isufaj convey biased political messages

The release reportedly states that the Association of Kosovo Prosecutors is convinced that these statements are meant to convey biased political messages and are made for the needs of certain public agendas.
“With cʹrasts are served with groundless facts and use a deignive language against the personalities and carriers of the prosecutorial institutions and, as such, are in complete opposition to the mission and the role of State Prosecutor”.
“The Kosovo Prosecutors' Association stresses that recent attacks by power and other parties within the country's media under the representatives of the prosecutorial system are biased and intentional and have no other reason to be called than attempts at harmful influences, unacceptable and dangerous behavior, which try to affect the violation of the State Prosecutor's independence when it is correctly known that the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and laws do not stand such a course and action against values requiring the rule of law<1> is said in the statement.
Reactions to Isufaj come after the arrest of Kosovo Energy Corporation leader Nagip Krasniqi. Ruling party officials linked Krasniqi's arrest to the refusal President Vjosa Osmani had made to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council's request for the appointment of Chief Special Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj to the post of State Prosecutor. In addition, reaction to Isufaj today came from the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti.
