The one who once led this ministry is not expressing satisfaction at all.
MP Armend Zemaj says that Vitia has done only “harnime”.
Within these months, Zemaj says nothing positive has happened in health.
So far there are only promises, even interventions or countries where there have been years of initiated projects and so far have managed to end somewhere. A new project or a new investment or a new purchase is not that it has taken place in five months either,”, he said of Front Online.
Vision of this significant sector, according to Zemaj, Kurti Government does not.
He says health is not the priority of this government.
We've seen from the beginning that the plan was planned is seen from its beginning, but that they don't have a vision, and that's going on, even after 30 months or half years of this government. Unfortunately, this all turns out to be ill-management because when there is no menaga capacity for a sector is a lack of capacity, even a lack of will, but also a season that should have a government at least normal”, Zemaj said.
Health care: If this continues, it's total degradation
Former Health Minister, currently LDK deputy Armend Zemaj, says that if it continues with this situation in the score this sector will degrade.
If this dynamic continues, this mandate ends with this situation, and if it ends with this situation then it is total degradation of this sensitive sector and which is more of a great need and positive changes”, he says.
Zemaj says the Kuri Government has exceeded the limits of absurdity.
He has also mentioned the departure of doctors and nurses from Kosovo.
This Government has now exceeded the limits of absurdity. In the last two years, we have more than 400 doctors who have released Kosovo, and most of those from public institutions, the same situation is with nurses, large numbers have left public health institutions, and what is absurd is the large number of unemployed doctors and nurses in Kosovo”, he says.
At the time of the minister, Zemaj says the situation has not been like this.
Zemaj says that during his governance at the Ministry of Health, it has been the biggest focus on donations.
And even though it's been an pandemic time, even with regard to the drug supply to the right, or the very extenuating material - how little I can say there was a shortage, even though it doesn't compare that time to the present time. We have had great assistance, the focus has been on donations and many other things, but despite this positive change we are not seeing is the same state of the last years”, Zemaj declares.
Vitita had resigned from the position of Health Minister in October last year to participate in local elections for chairmanship in the Pristina municipality ʹ which she had lost against Democratic League of Kosovo candidate Progress Rama.
Vitia had also served as minister of health at Kurti Government 1 in 2020.
After his resignation, about a month later, Health Minister Rifat Latifi had been appointed. But the latter resigned on October 6th, nearly a year after taking office.
Since then, Kosovo has been task défina Geja-Bunjak.
Meanwhile, the large number of doctors and nurses who are unable to find jobs in Kosovo are being forced abroad as a result.
During the first three months of 2023 alone, 86 doctors and 220 nurses have left.
