Rubin, who is staying in the Western Balkans on a four-day visit to a media conference in Montenegro, has said that if this agreement is implemented, there will be a prospect for a brighter future for the region.
However, according to him, difficult decisions must be made in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

On the other hand, he has been asked how he views the region now compared to the 1990s, he says he sees major differences in the Western Balkans.
I see major differences compared with wartime, misery, mass massacres of innocent civilians. Now we can see the prospect of Kosovo and Serbia for EU membership, if leaders accept the chance given to”, he added, wrote Montenegrin medium “Vijesti”.
Also, Rubin stressed that the US, welcomes agreements on which the EU is working and helps Kosovo and Serbia have normal relations, enable people to live close together, recognise symbols, minority rights, freedoms and move forward.
