US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill has been asked about the trial of former Kosovo Liberation Army members in The Hague. One of the concrete questions asked him was this: “If convicted, is this problem for NATO that has been cooperating with them in the 1990s?
Ambassador Hill has said the trial should be allowed to continue and the defendants are given the opportunity to clear up.
However, he has said that this subject should not be discussed, as the judgment is ongoing.
The war crimes tribunal was established long ago, even before what happened in Kosovo.
