Under changes made by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on April 2023, Russian citizens are no longer allowed to enter Albania without visas from May 1st to September 30th.

The embassy has noted that Russian citizens must already receive an official document concerning the purpose of their trip if they plan to visit Albania.

In addition, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, North Macedonia cancelled visa-free access to Russian citizens, and Montenegro reduced visa-free travel to 30 days during the summer. /Telegraphy/
