Former chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode Safet Gerjaliu says that only in 2022 have some 60 thousand left.
While Kosovo Alliance of Business Chairman Agim Sahin estimates that their departure makes Kosovo poor in all economic parameters. They're asking for the escape to stop.
The departure of young people should be Kosovo's main concern, the economy field expert Safet Gerjaliu is considering. He in a conversation for Radio Kosovo said that close to 600,000 people have fled the country last year.
If the migration structure was analysed in 2022, there were approximately 60 thousand people who fled Kosovo. Not only the unemployed are leaving, the employees with families are leaving, and we have illegal migration”, he said.
Gerjaliu is asking the state to become more conscious campaigners in this direction in order to prevent the flight of young people.
The lost belief that life in Kosovo can be experienced should be restored. All of this depends on the approach of politics, how transparent the pro return and support will be, and what the priority of economic priorities, not politics, will be the detensive of everything in Kosovo”, he said.
From the Kosovo Alliance of Business, Agim Sahini, said the youth's flight makes the state poor in all economic parameters. He also said the state should create opportunities to stop this departure.
Our Quadres are taking away our different international markets. This will greatly make us poor both in consumption, in economic growth, in prosperity, and in all economic parameters, and in the same way, the naturality will be markedly reduced. The country's government should increase the prospect of perspective for young people by providing opportunities for employment, business access and support for youth initiatives”, he said.
The German state aims to allow over 50,000 unqualified workers from the Western Balkans to work there. This was made known the day before as he changed his migration bill.
