Over 41kg of heroin seized in Tirana, 31-year-old

Over 41kg of heroin have been seized by Tirana Police.

Albania's police have announced that as a result of this operation, they have put 31-year-old Armando Papa, resident of the Red Field in handcuffs.

It has also been declared in search of another person, an associate of the pope. It's a person with an initial R.G., resident of Sukth.

Drugs were found in the trunk of the car type “Benz” where the Pope was travelling.

“While checking on the “Benz” vehicle, a box containing 62 packages was found in the trunk, containing 41kg and 700 grams of suspected heroin narcotics materials, which were seized in the quality of the material evidence along with the vehicle and 1 vehicle cut tool”, police reported.

Police say they've had information seized on the operational route and have been tracking the vehicles as soon as they located it. The chase has ended near the rotation of the airport, where the ban on “Benz” was made in question and the selection of considerable amount of heroin.

“By specialists for investigating Narcotics at the Tirana Police Department, in co-operation with the Court District Attorney Tirana, follow the deepening investigation into identifying other citizens involved in this key criminal activity“, police reported.

The procedure materials were passed on to the Prosecutor's Court of the District of Tirana for further actions. /tvclean/
