Kosovo police have held the media conference, with subcolonels Jem Rexhepi, director of the Road Communications Division in the PK, presented the report and analytical statistics on the situation in road traffic.
As he has indicated, in the three months of this year, there were 4 thousand 248 accidents, of which 18 were fatal accidents, where 23 people died.
As he has indicated, the police have undertaken many activities involving speed control, thus adding patrols to the field.
“in the January-March 2023 period is 4248 total accidents, of which there are 18% or 4 cases less fatal accidents than last year.
The total number of accidents is down by 280 cases or 6.18%, while the number of injuries is rising for 1.01% or 16 cases more than in the same period last year”, he said.
