“If wages are not raised, we will leave Kosovo in darkness”, warning electricity reductions if KEK workers' salaries are not achieved

The same protests have submitted their demands, which include raising salaries.

At the same time, the chairman of the New Trade Union, the Kosovo Energy Corporation, Nexhat Llumnica, has declared their demands essential.

In addition to this protest, the possibility of Kosovo returning to terror has been warned.

I ask all those relevant institutions to open competitions and hire young people, because workers are being challenged with three shifts, with 16 hours, it's the same as eight hours' work. We've requested collective agreements, it's the only public company that doesn't have collective deals”, the Llumnica quarter.

He also said that if wages are not raised, they will leave Kosovo in the dark.

In addition, during the protest by workers, it has been stressed that reductions are expected from Monday.

So if their demands are not met, the protest will continue and the work will not be carried out.

If reductions start again in the country, the situation will be very difficult. After the war last year, it was among the most serious in terms of power-al electric reductions.
