Turkey: Floods kill 10 people in earthquake-affected provinces

A person drowned in the town of Tut in the southeastern province of Adiyaman, where the waters took up the tent that housed a family survived by the earthquake, Governor Numan Hatipoglu said, the AP forwards Periscopi.
The governor of the neighbouring province of Sanliurfa, Salih Ayhan, told HaberTurk television that four people lost their lives in the floods in his region. Later, rescuers found the bodies of five Syrian citizens within a flooded basement apartment in Sanliurfa, the private DHA news agency reported.
TV footage by Sanliurfa showed flood waters rising along a street and taking cars as well as a man saved from a underpass.
The Turkish disaster management agency said more than dozens of professional divers were involved in rescue efforts in the two provinces.
An earthquake of 7.8 magnitude hit parts of Turkey and Syria on February 6th, killing more than 52,000 people in Turkey. More than 200,000 buildings in Turkey either collapsed or were severely damaged. /Periscopi
