A Suspect Arrested for Abuse of Children in Pornography

According to the Kosovo Police Community, a phone has been seized in connection with the case and the suspect has been interviewed, who at the prosecutor's decision has been released in regular procedure.

Kosovo's “Police, in the continuation of duty and legal authorisations for the prevention and combating of criminality, have taken investigative action to identify and arrest a suspected person, to carry out the criminal act by Article 232 the abuse of children in pornography.

The Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime, the Cyber Crimes Investigation Division, respectively, after accepting information that on the social network Facebook, from a suspected person, has been distributed to several other people a video with sexual abuse content of children, has begun investigations, with a male/cosovar suspect identified and arrested as a result.

A mobile phone was seized in the case and the suspect was also interviewed and in consultation with the competent prosecutor released in regular procedure”, the police communiqué said.
