Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was invited last night to the “Debat Plus” show, where he spoke on various issues, but devoted very little time to the country's most important topics.
For this, Periscope He spoke to the renowned analyst. Shkodran Ramadani, which suffered sharp criticism towards the prime minister, on topics such as the Ohrid Agreement, the KKP Law and the UN report on Kosovo.
Periscope: ) The KPK law was declared anti-unconstitutional, how did you assess the fact that Prime Minister Kurti, in spite of that, stood up for Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu in this regard?
Mr. Ramadan: And this point of Mr. Kurt is not surprised at what he knows, because it is in their attempt to bypass both the nouns and to violate independent institutions in the name of representation of the will of the people, which, according to them, does not deserve to be restricted by any law and by any body of constitution and justice. Because they are the authoritarianly dominant populist parties they constantly target the mini-anachievement and independence of these institutions, which are the guarantor of the institutional balance, the freedom of powers, necessary for any state and any society intended to be democratic. Without these institutions it is impossible to function democracy in a state, but since they are not the great humility of democracy then it is certainly only collateral damage to the independence of these institutions, so it is not surprising at all.
Periscope: ) Another important issue discussed was the U.S. State Department report. Kurt somehow did not deny there was corruption in Government. He stated that if we compare this report to the past it turns out there are many officials, while he says there are now “some officials”. How do you comment?
Mr. Ramadan: And also the report of The UN is another evidence that the Kurti government has done nothing to combat corruption by promises and pledges made to arrest “the major balances of corruption”. It ended up arresting several police officers at the border checkpoints who have probably had 10m, $20, 30. Because of promises that will build the Dubrava prison in 12 stories, he has forgotten all that issue, now corruption is not a problem, he has even taken to his defense corruption with the case of Martin Berisha, whose evidence is powerful, convincing that he is involved not only in corruption but also in organised crime with Belgrade's GEN. So Mr. Kurt isn't just fighting corruption, but he's protecting it, according to all odds, because he's himself involved in this circle, and therefore he doesn't even follow Martin Berisha because he would have to wait for the branch where he himself is staying.
Periscope: )<x) > No Zajednica even then today” These were two Kurt statements dealing with the Ohrid Agreement. Based on the fact that Kurt agreed to this agreement, which means that the foundation of the Association is soon to begin, how did you comment on Kurt's words?
Mr. Ramadan: But even this statement is a desperate attempt by Prime Minister Kurti to hide the truth of Zajednica's acceptance and launching, he now thinks that by changing the name of this entity, he tries to convince us that he's keeping his substance, however substance, the substance of this entity is the same or worse, because in the Ohrid agreement, those that should be realised in 2013, 2015 and not the Constitutional Court's decision on the 2015 agreement, nor the letter of Mogher. So in the agreement, neither does Moghrin's letter saying that the action should take place in accordance with the constitution nor the Constitutional Court's decision in remarks he gave on the 2015 agreement. So it has pledged that it will implement agreements as signed, not as they have been fulfilled a little later. /PERISCOP/
