Police arrest five men for gun trafficking

By order of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, with the Kosovo Police date, there has been a police operation conducted respectively in the South Mitrovica region and Pristina, which has included five) different locations, where it has resulted in the arrest of five (5) persons suspected of gun trafficking.
Suspects organised as a dangerous criminal group allegedly committed criminal acts “The taking or organising of the criminal group organised by Article 277
“Linked to penal acts “Import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, mediation or unauthorized sale of weapons or explosive matter” from Article 364 and criminal work” kept in ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” from Article 366”, the statement said.
Five (5) initials with S. S., S. S., E. J., St. D. and S. J., as well as during the search and raids conducted on residential property/houses, in quality of material evidence have been seized:
• Twenty (20) weapons (AK-47),
• Twenty (20) AK 47 cartoons,
•two vehicles,
• six (6) Phones as well as
• relevant documents.
By the decision of the competent prosecutor five (5) arrested suspects have been sent to the detention for 48 hours to proceed with further legal procedures.
