However, he is pessimistic that at Saturday's meeting in Ohrid there will be agreements, as he says differences are great for its implementation plan.
However, the leader of The PDK establishes the need for any agreement with Serbia to end in the Assembly for ratification of legitimacy.
This is an international agreement and must be brought to the Assembly for ratification, otherwise there will be no legal currency, it will not be binding. This is very important to say and explain. The agreement as such meets the criteria required by Article 18 of the Constitution and should be brought to the Assembly for ratification. The moment this is achieved we will continue our discussions, including meetings of the Steering Council, party leadership, open discussions to decide on the final position. But one thing I tell you as it is this agreement cannot have our support”, he says.
Krasniqi says about Kosovo that without plans to implement any agreements in Ohrid on March 18th.
There was no agreement on the implementation plan, anx involved in Article 11 no deal at all. We're left to see if there's going to be a deal, right, beyond the tactical statements that the parties can make... we have to see the final text, we need to know if there's a deal, because that's declarative, and the deal happens when it's signed. Until that moment there is a long road and I believe there are major differences in the implementation plan”, Krasniqi adds.
According to him the damages from the agreement agreed on in Brussels are now accepting the heads of state, posing Article seven as concessions that risks creating a status of political autonomy for the Serb community.
Article seven is the most problematic article of the entire deal. Essentially, it risks creating a status of political autonomy for the Serb community on the one hand, as well as a status of religious extraterritority for the Serbian Orthodox Church on the other. The heads of state are already acknowledging that it is concession, but they are still showing what concessions it really is and what level harms Kosovo's constitutional rule”, he declares.
This deal, according to the opposition leader, testifies to the degradation of the process of dialogue Prime Minister Albin Kurti has made, bringing about unrecognised agreements.
Unfortunately today, the agreement that is on the table is neither final nor comprehensive nor is mutual recognition central. We can be ignored by these facts after this process has deteriorated, primarily because of the responsibility Albin Kurti has and because of his guilt of applying those demands and those state purposes that we've had for years. His arrogance, neglect, non-coordination at the time when it was necessary with international partners and many other mistakes, ranging from the lack of political, diplomatic, negotiating experience and to the approach he has had in the wrong has brought this result”, Krasniqi points out.
On the other hand, Krasniqi points out that according to meetings with international allies, he has also seen the loss of their ambition for dialogue.
There's also a loss of ambition on the part of international partners, because they really can't offer more today. It's painful that we are in the situation that we are in an approach to take or permit, when what we are offered to receive is much less and less important than what has been discussed and worked years later”, Krasniqi concludes.
