The topic of their meeting was the security situation in Kosovo before the April elections in the country's north.
“A excellent discussion with NATO's current operations chief, Ariel Viehe, of the security situation in Kosovo following last year's crisis and in the shadow of municipal elections in 4 northern municipalities”.
Wigemark said they have also discussed close co-operation between EULEX and KFOR.
Elections in the four northern municipalities will be held on April 23rd, 2023. The Srpksa list will not participate in these elections. However, the states of the QWITT have supported the elections, saying they express regret that this party has refused to participate in this election.
