Mustafa: Government for two years, twice expensive energy prices

MP Besian Mustafa has demanded that the Kurti Government urgently invest in the creation of local power generation capacities.

For the second time in the two years of this government, the price of electricity is rising. This time for 15.4 percent. All of this in this time of crisis when prices of essential products have increased by up to 50 percent, when property taxes have increased by 100 percent, when wages have not increased in the public sector, nor in the private sector”.

This government for 2 years has not invested a cent in the creation of new power generation capacities. Hundreds of millions of euros spent on subvention do not solve the long-term energy problem”.

“The government urgently needs to invest in the creation of local power generation capacities in partnership with the private local and international sector”.

“These investments should focus on renewable energy sources like the gas plant as the best option”.
