Former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha has commented on tomorrow's meeting in Ohrid, which will take place between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, with a very interesting statement.
Berisha has said that Vuciq will use Association as an excuse not to sign the agreement, but that the real reason is that he has an order from the Kremlin not to accept it.
He's actually using as an excuse for association, but the main reason he probably doesn't sign tomorrow is by the Kremlin so he doesn't accept the Franco-German deal,”Berisha wrote.
He has further added that failure to accept because Serbia would have to implement EU sanctions on Russia.

What is expected tomorrow in Ohrid!
Dear friends, a very important meeting is held tomorrow in Ohrid for Kosovo, Serbia and the region, between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, and senior EU and US representatives.
The Franco-German deal is scheduled to be signed at this meeting. Kosovo's prime minister declared in Brussels that he was willing to sign the agreement, while Serbia's president, Vucic, said he accepts the agreement but does not sign it. As an excuse, he drew out the Ethonian Nationalist Vow, which he well knows cannot be accepted.
Actually, he's using as an excuse for association, but the main reason he probably doesn't sign tomorrow is by order from the Kremlin not to accept the Franco-German deal. This is because this agreement requires harmonisation of the two countries' foreign policy with EU foreign policy, which means Serbia must implement EU sanctions on Russia.
But tomorrow is a very special case for Serbia to leave the Russian umbrella, which has brought only defeat and line up on the right and right side of history. Given what Aleksandar Vucic represents and his past is hardly able to make the right decision tomorrow.
