Kurti meets eurodeputs from EPP, talk about March 18th meeting, Kosovo's EU application

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has started his two-day stay in Strasbourg, France, with the European People's Party Group (EPP) meeting in the European Parliament. Kurti met with Lucas Mandl from Austria, Michael Gahler, Rainer Wieland and Nicklas Herbst from Germany, Carlo Rester from Croatia, Franz Bogovic from Slovenia and Vladimir Bilcik from Slovakia.
The EPP makes up the largest political group in the European Parliament.
The meeting discussed Kosovo's application to the European Union in December last year, and application to the Council of Europe in May of last year.
Kurti also stressed the importance of supporting the European Parliament in rapidly addressing Kosovo's applications and supporting along all integration routes.
During the meeting, we also discussed the March 18th meeting in Ohrid, the possibilities it presents and expectations of that meeting.
The “Eurodeputs gave their positive assessment and expressed full support for government reforms, democratic progress, rule of law and the fight against corruption”, the government communiqué reportedly broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
Present at the meeting were MEPs Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Victory Pacolli-Dalip, Statovci Life and Armend Muja.
