Prime Minister Albin Kurti has spoken to the media after meeting with DUI chairman Ali Ahmeti.
On the day, we started with Chairman Ali Ahmeti, then with the prime minister of Northern Macedonia, Kovacevski, and now with the special emissary for the Balkans, Mr. Escobar from the UN. From here he's going to meet with President Pendarovski, and then we have bilateral meetings with the European mediators, Borrell and Lajcak, which precedes the trilate meeting”.
The Ohrid Lake is Tektonic lake, but it's a quiet and beautiful place”.
“I am optimistic, I am attentive and we will do our best for the Republic of Kosovo, constitutionality, sovereignty, territorial integrity, public interest and people for all citizens indiscriminately, because I am prime minister of the republic of all citizens indiscriminately”.
On this occasion, besides being optimistic, I have come with purpose and goodwill, and in confidence that the agreement reached earlier, which unfortunately was not signed in Brussels on February 27th, to continue through negotiations on the implementation plan and thus round the agreement on normalisation”.
We will have talks on the implementation plan because there is no completed text. Since there is no completed text, there can be no conclusion of the talks, and since there is no conclusion of the negotiations there can be no agreement. I'm here for the principled, open, serious dialogue that should result in agreement, and the agreement implies the final and agreed text. I'm not here for talks on the talks, but for talks on the” agreement, Kurti said.
