Kosovar sentenced to four and a half years in prison, stole Picasso's paintings

The case had occurred at the home of an 80-year-old pensioner in Weinfeld TG.
The total amount of stolen things amounted to 75 thousand Swiss francs or (77 thousand euros), among them were two paintings of Picasso, which in the market amounted to 50,000 francs or over (51 thousand euros), wrote Swiss media.
The man from Kosovo was captured by police in 2021 for another theft he had made.
He has declared that he had sold the paintings at a price of 150 euros.
The “were fake, I sold them on the market for 150 euros”, he said before the court.
He therefore declared that he did not want to hurt the old man.
The 37-year-old showed that the amount of money stolen was lost playing poker.
Kosovo's lawyer has called for the parole of his client.
But the court has decided otherwise by condemning the man from Kosovo to four and a half years.
He was also expelled from Switzerland for 10 years.
Kosovar must also pay court expenses and 25 thousand, 680 francs for stolen items
