Konjufca in Washington meets with top state officials who have not recognised Kosovo

Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, in the margin of the Washington Second Democracy Summit, has met with parliament heads and officials of various states, including those non-recognitional states. “
“The opportunity was to hold a series of fruitful meetings with parliament heads, MPs, senior officials and personalities from Kenya, Gambia, Armenia, Ghana, Zambia, Liberia and Costa Rica, some of them non-recognitional states of the Republic of Kosovo”.
Konjufca said that at these meetings she has talked about Kosovo's progress as well as its Euro-Atlantic path.
I undertook the democratic progress of the Republic of Kosovo and institutional dedication on our path towards membership in the European Union and NATO. Representatives of these states talked about the role of our parliaments in building and intensifying bilateral relations and co-operation in various areas of common interest. I stressed the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to cultivating friendship, developing modalities for future co-operation and advancing interstate reports aimed at strengthening the international position of Kosovo”.
