KMDLNj: The billing of electricity on ethnic grounds constitutes human rights violations

The Council for Protection of Freedoms and Human Rights has reacted against the ZRE's decision to raise wages for all ethnicities, but not for the Serbian one, saying that this distinction constitutes human rights violations. “ZRREE, just as KMDLNY had warned the opinion, yesterday he made a decision that bills [...]
“ZRREE, as KMDLNY had warned, yesterday made the decision that electricity bills alone for Albanians and non-Serbs rise approximately 15.4 per cent that was more than 2.5 per cent from the initial demand for electricity price growth”, the KMLDNY communiqué said.
Of course, this increase does not affect even one cent of Serbs who, since the end of the war, have never paid electricity, water, waste and other services while working for Serbia's interests and against Kosovo institutions. From the end of the war until now, with the release of payment for these obligations for which Albanians and non-Serbs, regardless of the serious economic situation, if they haven't paid them in time, have ended up in court or at the finisher”.
KMLDNY even accused institutions that sell the current by creating false lack of market, while labelling ZRE chairman as fraud.
It is true that Kosovo constantly sells the electricity, causing false market shortages while paying it more dearly when facing protests or warnings. The chairman of the ZRE Board is insincere and deceptive when he makes up pleas for costing the electricity and favours organised crime in the north by paying for the flow spent without any criteria, without any restrictions and without any reduction of”.
“The head of this non-crupulous budget robbery team of the most flagrantly endangered layers violates the human rights of Kosovo citizens by allowing the fate of the current exclusively on ethnic grounds. In a normal country, not that it would be fired but would be prosecuted for discrimination of citizens. The Kosovo government, through completely unaware ministers, tries to remove responsibility from this rise in the electricity price with the argument that ZRE is an independent institution, although it has left no room without noses and uninfluencing.
“The discrimination of citizens on ethnic grounds is in full opposition to human rights and criminal acts, and this is happening in Kosovo, Albanians and non-Serbs are obliged to pay all bills (and have to pay) while Serbs do not, since the end of the war and so far”.
