While the KPK law proved anti-unconstitutional, Kurt again does not back down, saying that “was good”, Periscopi follows.
“Albulena Haxhiu as justice minister is what rewrites the bill. I believe that bill that was made was good. Because we need reform in justice. I believe it was good. The Constitutional Court does not believe it was good, or fair. Now, what needs to be done. Let the Ministry of Justice read that she was sponsoring this thing and let them bring it to me as prime minister and see if there's any chance that there's a formula that involves the remarks we've been given the GRK. If that is not possible, then new political decision is needed. If this is possible, it's done with the Ministry of Justice and its task force bringing the bill to me”, Kurt said.
The prime minister, among other things, says he will not dismiss the justice minister, but that he will rewrite the law.
We remember that Kosovo MPs had even adopted the second reading amendment of the Law to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council on June 23rd of this year. 61 MPs were voter participants, of them 60 have voted “for”, and an MP has abstained. /Periscope.
