Hoxha: March is not political, but support for leaders in The Hague, decisions can affect Kosovo's future

During the weekend in Pristina, the justice march will be held in support of former KLA leaders who are being tried in The Hague, organised by the “Liria platform has a name”. In this regard, PDK MP Eliza Hoxha, the designer of this platform, said that preparations for this [...]

According to her, this march is without political, social or religious overtones, and that it will only be a solidification and support march for those in The Hague and that everyone's participation is necessary because according to it the decisions made at The Hague can affect Kosovo's future.

Hoxha has said that they are getting ready and that she thanks all supporters who are enabling this march to be easier to organise.

The “has already started, this early week we are discussing how they will be divided to the local level because there are a whole set of social categories that express their desire to come, but normally they have no access to either financial or incoming transportation. It's a part of the work a part of the team is working on. On the other hand, a special thanks to all supporters even businesses that in various forms, for example, one with delivery of transport services, or other services has enabled this march to be easier to organise”, she said.

She said that she did not send official invitations to other political parties to participate, as in her opinion the invitation has been open, but if necessary, she said she would also send official papers to invite political parties to participate.

Hoxhaj stressed that the march is not political, but it is a demonstration of solidification and support for those in The Hague, as according to her, decisions to be made there can affect Kosovo's future and the future of those who will be born at another time.

The third one that is equally important is that we have not had an official invitation with political parties at official invitation, that has been an open invitation for all the acters, and so far, the Movement for the Union Party has been joined. And if it doesn't happen these days, I believe we'll send a formal letter, since we wouldn't have to expect political parties, especially those that are part of the power and decision-making to be part of such a deal. Because the march is not political, it is a demonstration of solidification and support for those in The Hague, where the end is not only the past, but the decisions that will be made can affect Kosovo's future, but also those that will be born at a different time”.

I think without party overtones, without social overtones and without religious overtones, that we should not be part of the march today. On that day we will not demonstrate against anyone, on that day we will march to call for a fair and fair process, that's the umbrella that would have had to unite them all indiscriminately party, color, belonging or ideology. This is our invitation, and the invitation is open to all activists. The initiative has joined the platform “Freedom has the name” full of acts, both cultural and political spectrum scenes. If it is necessary to send you an official invitation to other parties as well as I believe we will do it”, she said.

She said that with this gear they do not intend to influence the process, but that they will show a goodwill and moral support for leaders being tried at The Hague.

I am not someone who can calculate, because sometimes the support we get from the media or social media may not match the physical presence, but that I see as a key moment that day we won't even be able to affect the process, nor do we want to influence the process, that day only we can with the market a kindness and a moral support for those who are there that Kosovo has not forgotten, that Kosovo supports them in all the challenge that they are facing and if we are facing it, cormi with ourselves and with Kosovo, as well as with them there, e1x>

Marsh will be held Sunday, April 2nd, in Pristina at 2: 00 p.m. March will start from square “Zahir Pajaziti” and will continue in direction of “Skenderbeu”
