US Ambassador to Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier in an interview for T7 television has said the agreement reached in Ohrid already indicated it has begun to apply.

The US diplomat has said the US strongly believes the agreement must be implemented urgently.

“First of all, I would say that part of the agreement is already being implemented and of course it is a process to implement the entire agreement. The United States strongly believes that the agreement should be implemented urgently, and we have also heard the same thing say to Kosovo's prime minister.”, Havener has said.

He has said the next step is the April 4th meeting, which he hopes will be a successful meeting.

The next “step is to meet on April 4th, you know that Miroslav Lajcak's dialogue is a relieved new dialogue that is drawing the chief negotiators to negotiate those very issues, and we expect a successful meeting in order to move ahead with the implementation of the agreement.” has added Havener.

The April 4th meeting is scheduled and confirmed by European Union officials, and will take place at the top negotiator level.
