She was asked whether she will go out in protest as she once did against establishing the Association of Serb majority municipalities.
But, Haxhiu said they are not the same period and that Prime Minister Kurti in Ohrid has dignifiedly defended Kosovo's interest.
Kosovo had a prime minister who protects citizens' interests in the best possible way. Never before has there been the most dignified representation of Kosovo, but as you know in the past when the interests of the state are not represented directly and decently. So we have also had numerous concessions that we are suffering from today”.
Haxhiu said Prime Minister Kurti has made the right choice and “that there have certainly been attitudes for association or the European Union's” plan.
The justice minister said that democratic means are available for those who oppose this agreement.
We don't consider the interests of the Republic of Kosovo being violated, we don't consider that citizens' interests are being violated. Those who consider [the interest being violated] have the democratic means, which they also know of the Constitution of Kosovo, let them continue”.
