Gunshots fired in northern Mitrovica threatened the lives of Kosovo police officers, 5 persons arrested

As reported in the Police's report, <x0) police officers in the process have signaled the battery vehicle to stop for routine control, but the alleged person (the vehicle leader) has just noticed police officials signaling for the ban, have increased the speed of escaping the ban by directly risking the lives of police officials, while one of the police officials is intent on avoiding direct danger to his life and other police officials has been forced to use firearm”
In the course of office, Kosovo Police have stopped two more vehicles allegedly connecting to the first case, and five people have been sent to the police station.

On March 9th, 2023, around 19:20, while the Kosovo Police Police Unit was at the checkpoint in the village of Banje on an illegal route, carrying out its legal duties and authorisations in ensuring security, an audience-type jeep has come to town.
Police officials at the checkpoint have signalled the battery vehicle to stop for routine control, but the alleged person (the driver of the vehicle) has just noticed police officials signaling the ban, have increased speed to flee the ban, directly jeopardising the lives of police officials, while one of the police officials has been forced to use a firearm.
The suspected quick vehicle has left the scene through illegal routes, while police units are taking operational and investigative action to identify and arrest the suspected person involved.
As a continuation of the investigation during the implementation of police duties, relevant police units have banned two other vehicles that have come to that location, which can allegedly connect with the suspected car, in which five persons were located, who have been sent to the police station for interviewing and procedures to be added to co-operation and co-ordination with justice organs.
