Two Pakistanis, 27, and 29 years of age, have surrendered to Greek authorities.
They are allegedly accomplices of the leader, who acted abroad as the “body of network”.
As media reports, the objective of this terrorist group was not only to harm innocent citizens but also to violate the sense of security in the country, simultaneously damaging its institutions and threatening its international relations.
The breakup of this terrorist group took place after collecting information in parts of the country.
Greek authorities were reportedly assisted by an intelligent foreign service, whose name was not disclosed.
By analysis of classified information and digital data, it was discovered and confirmed that network members:
They had already chosen a building of particular importance as the target of the attack; they had been monitoring the area and planning the attack; they had received final instructions for carrying out the attack; in implementing these instructions, they were looking for other persons to perform their mission as best as possible.
