Tomorrow, “Dardians” will face Israel on the journey, starting at 6:00.
The Kosovo team has travelled today to Tel Aviv, where it has held the latest media conference prior to this confrontation.
Selective Alain Giresse, who said maximum commitment is needed to achieve positive results, was presented at the conference.
It's all prepared. Every footballer normally wants to play his own. Everyone will be part of tomorrow's tactic, but they can't talk anymore. Kosovo's Sixes depend not only on tomorrow, but on the entire qualifying campaign. This is the most deletive thing for everyone. We need to get as busy as possible to reach the outcome as we can. The tactic does not speak before the match”, the French coach said initially.
On the other hand, Giresse also spoke of Kosovo's likelihood of achieving its first and historical qualifications in a major race, as well as of the pressure that is on “Dardians”, as nearly all are required qualification.
We're not here to discuss what the odds are. We're here to play and move on. Our goal is to seek the best possible of each match. We will not analyze what are the chances of qualifying. I think it's normal to have such pressure, whether from the public, the media, or the Federation. But I'm okay with this. We must turn this pressure into hope. This pressure should be turned into motive”, the 70-year-old said.
Giresse had questions about his opponent tomorrow, Israel. He did not single out any footballer, for he said that “11 players are dangerous in Israel, that fact cannot be overlooked in any form”.
All tickets have been sold for the confrontation between Israel and Kosovo. The selection of “Dardians” was asked how this might affect.
I believe this is normal if we talk about motivation. We are guests and normally that locals should support their team as much as possible. We should be focused as much on the game as possible. We have to deal with such a situation that is normal in football”, said Giresee.
Alayn Giresse was eventually asked even if Kosovo can benefit from the fact that Israel has a newer and inexperienced team at such a level of competition.
“If Kosovo is a team with more experience, we can try to win from that fact”, it was his response.
We remember that after the match with Israel, Kosovo will be host to Andorra on March 28th.
