Two doctors produced a sensational intervention into the heart of a young patient suffering from the narrowness of the main artery (aorta).
It's about Adean, a 15-year-old from Kosovo whose story began when she was nine months old.
Her parents realized at that time that their daughter had a hole in her heart.
The hole was closed with a double section, and Ade was able to lead a normal life.
In 2022 her condition deteriorated.
The routine checks conducted in Kosovo brought a new diagnosis to the young girl.
Adea suffered from the stenos of the subvalvular aorta, a narrowing of the aorta valve caused by fibrous tissue that has developed and grew over time.
This narrowing of the main artery led to a markedly lower flexibility in Adea.
Even with the slightest effort, she suffered from a gasp and advanced heart failure, writes the German newspaper Express.de.
Professor Fahrad Bachtiary spoke of the nature of the disease.
The main pump room (left animal) pumps oxygen - rich blood through the aorta valve. If the opening of the aorta is too narrow, as is the case of Adea, there is a “Because of this extra work, the heart muscle thickens, and then we talk about left ventricle hypertrophy. The closer the area, the less oxygen - rich blood enters the body”, he said.
