When “Meta” removed the Messenger from Facebook in 2014, it was announced that the “objective is to focus on the development of the Messenger as the best possible experience of telephone mail”.
The evacuation decision was made in 2014, and in 2016, Facebook began pushing people towards the Messinger app, removing the inbox from the base app.
Allison said that going back means that people will find it easier to distribute posts without having to change the app.
