The Eurodeput accused of corruption speaks from Brussels prison: At first I thought about suicide.

It has been almost four months since the beginning of Qatar, since Kyle was arrested on December 9th along with eight other people, including her partner Francesco Giorgi, a parliamentary assistant who had worked with former Brussels European President Antonio Panzer, who also ended up in prison.
The charge is corruption. Kyle allegedly tried to influence European Parliament's decisions regarding Qatar in exchange for money.
In the face of the legal battle, the Eurodeput appealed to the EU Court of Justice, demanding “cancel the European Chief Prosecutor's decision on December 15th 2022, containing the request for the removal of parliamentary immunity and annul the decision of the European Parliament's president, January 10, 2023, to declare this request during the Parliament's plenary session and to refer to the Commission for Legal Affairs<18x1>.
