Escobar today comes from Belgrade to Pristina, meets with state leaders

US Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar is expected to visit Pristina today, where he will meet with President Vjosa Osmani. Escobar is expected tomorrow to meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, a day before his meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Ohrid, North Macedonia, where with EU mediation, the signing of the European plan for normalisation of relations between the two countries is expected.

Escobar has so far stayed in Belgrade, where he met with leaders there, as well as with the Serbian opposition.

The European top diplomat, Josep Borrell, has asked both sides to show courage and responsibility at the meeting in Ohrid.
