Leaving Kosovo is continuing to see it as the only solution for a better life. For this from January 1st this year until now, over 220 health workers made their way to other countries. Of them, 53 were doctors.
The trend of running out of health workers is not expected to stop there. This is as mass staff evasion is further warned because of the discontent associated with wages and working conditions.
Nurses say that once staff is removed from the country, health care delivery could be jeopardised, RTK reports.
Thousands of health workers are found to be attending foreign language courses, as they aim to leave Kosovo in the near future.
Periscop has reported that 200 thousand euros cost the state the schooling of a doctor who was then robbed by Germany.
