During this visit, the Danish delegation was notified by prison space in Gjilan and by ways of operation.
“On a particular focus was also information concerning the treatment of prisoners near this prison, which is in line with respect to international standards”, the report said.
In addition, it is announced that living quarters, visiting rooms, health units, and other prison areas were visited during the visit to the prison area.
We remember that Kosovo has rented 300 prison cells to Denmark in a ten-year term. For this, Kosovo will receive 210m euros.
