Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has released the construction cost index for the fourth quarter of 2022, which reportedly dropped to -0.6%, compared to the third quarter of 2022.
According to the AKS, the largest drop was on energy -42.8% and materials -0.3%.
“In the meantime, growth had in: machinery (3.9%); other costs (1.4 %); and salaries (0.9%). Meanwhile, compare TM4 2022, with the same pre-year period (TM4 2021), the Construction Cost Index grew by 16.7%. The index growth, mainly noted at: transport (40.4%); machinery (17.8%); materials (17.6%); other costs (12.5%); and salaries (9.6%). While the decline was noted in energy (-15.2% )”, the announcement says. /Periscopi/
