In an open and friendly conversation, political developments in the country and the region were discussed, Kosovo's integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions and international organisations and mechanisms, as well as advancing co-operation between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America.
Parliament Speaker Konjufca and HDP chairman Buchan praised excellent bilateral relations, the continuation of permanent friendship, steadfast partnership and the strategic alliance between states and our peoples.
They also shared the same view that, as so far, the support of the United States is central to the important processes through which the Republic of Kosovo is going through.
Parliament Deputy Speaker Enver Hoxhaj, Kosovo's Ambassador to Washington, Ilir Dugolli and Chairmanial Chief of Staff, Ilir Krscelli, also attended the meeting.
