Civil society organisations in Kosovo, Serbia call on Vucinic Kurt to sign

These civil society organisations from Kosovo and Serbia launch the letter with “members of civil society on the side of this letter address the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia to accept and sign the agreement proposed by the European Union, as well as reach a compromise on implementation of the annexes at their next meeting on 18 March 2023<1>.
Furthermore, “Proposing the agreement by the European Union is an important step and proper direction for normalising relations and the road to integration into the European Union”.
“We understand that the EU proposal is not satisfactory for either side, however, the continuation of the current status quo leaves much worse consequences and creates new tensions through the responsibilities would influence both societies to be less secure”, said in part on paper.
Also reportedly, Kosovo and Serbia's <x0] citizens expect their leaders to commit to reaching a compromise that would also enable the European integration process for both sides and the entire region”.
“Compromis is a push of the demorcratic society process and is not a concession”, said among other things.
