The Ministry of Industry, Intervention and Trade (MINT) has organised the conference for “Yava for the Protection of Consumer”, with regard to the consumer's needs, as well as the importance of low prices as well as quality products.
Minister Roseta Hajdari said the ministry she leads is vigilant in this respect and that the priority has the creation of a trade environment, servant and consumer as secure for consumers.
She said the Kosovo government has adopted a set of laws concerning consumer protection.

While the chairman of the Council for Consumer Rights Protection, Safete Rexhepi, said that during 2022, over 1,200 complaints have been accepted in the Market Inspectorate, of which 1127 have been elected.
According to her, the number of complaints addressed has resulted in 74% of the cases being considered based and chosen in favour of consumers.

During 2022 The Market Inspectorate has accepted 1239 consumer complaints, out of which 1127 have been selected, while 112 are in the process of choosing or being rejected as incomplete. Out of the number of complaints addressed has resulted that 74% of the cases are considered based and selected in favour of consumers, 23% of cases after treatment have resulted in complaints being filed, 3% of complaints have been rejected”, she said.
