“Ide is the same as the agreement between Western and East Germany at the time. They didn't recognize each other and they did. Now that Vuciq is giving up this essential part of the deal, it removes every reason for such a thing, an agreement. Serbia now claims that the association must first be formed and in form as agreed (wrongly) by the parties in 2013-2015. But, Kosovo's Constitutional Court declared some provisions of the unconstitutional agreement”, the former Dutch ambassador said.
He said Serbia has no legal and no moral basis to force Kosovo to go against its Constitution.
He adds that implementation of the agreement benefits Kosovo.
It is clear that the agreement will benefit Kosovo if implemented, provided it is according to the Constitutional Court's decision”, he said.
