“You have authorization from Location” Ahmetaj rejects control of partner's apartment

Sources for Euronews Albania suggest that through the lawyer, the MP claims the law was violated because it was not granted authorisation by the Parliament.

Ahmetaj's lawyer, stressed in the court's complaint that the checks exercised in the parliament's co-existence residence, Erjola Hoxha, are contrary to the Constitution and violate the sovereignty of the Republic of Albania's Parliament.

Also underlined in the complaint are that unfounded evidence checks have affected human dignity in Mrs. Hoxha, violation of privacy, and are contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights.

The search was exercised at a villa in the Hamallaj area, where 30,000 euros and a series of related documents were seized.

Meanwhile, only a few documents were seized in the former husband's house.
