This agency recalls that there is only one day remaining from the completion of the legal deadline for property declaration.
So far, according to the APK, the declaration has been made in all 3997 or 77.71% of state officials.
“About 664 or 13.59% have begun completing property declaration”, this agency explains.
The director of the Yll Buleskaj Agency calls on all public officials to make the annual declaration of property accurate and within legal terms and re-remember punishment measures against public officials who fail to comply with legal obligations for property declarations.
“Reremember, which for delays of up to 15 days, the law envisions the pronunciation of a mandate fine of up to 500 euros, in case it does not declare wealth, in addition to fines, will also be prepared for criminal charges and could be sentenced to imprisonment for up to three years, while in case of false statements, criminal charges against officials will be prepared and sentenced to fines and imprisonment of up to 5” the APK Director Yl Bulishkaj called.
The annual regular declaration of wealth has started on March 01th and will be completed on March 31st, 2023.
