According to police, suspect A.K., when applying in tender for <x0 maternity office”, had used a 2021 document.
As a result, it has involved fraud with the Ministry of Security Force, and with that reference it has won the tender in many of the 155 thousand euros, for which it has been arrested by police for criminal acts “Kequm and fraud in public procurement” and “Forging” documents.
Therefore, today, on the date 13,03.23, the high-ranking initial suspect has been interviewed in the presence of his attorney, and after interviewing suspects from the state prosecutor has been issued a ban order and the same has been submitted to the detention for 48 hours”, the report said.

Kosovo police, the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK), namely, the Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption-Gylan, in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor Gjilan, have conducted investigative/operative actions for several months and have managed to provide evidence that; the initial suspect (A.K.) with the case of bidding in the DEC's tender with material planning for office in the municipality of Gjilan, had forged and handed over the reference released earlier in 2021. With these references he had involved the ministry of the security force as if he had issued this reference to his company.
With these references, the suspect had applied to the municipality of Gjilan in the upper tender by winning and signing the contract with the municipality of Gjilan at the value of a hundred and fifty-five thousand euros (155,000 euros).
By these actions, the suspect allegedly consumed criminal acts “Kequm and fraud in public procurement” and “Forging” documents. So today, on the date 13,03.23, the highly initial suspect has been interviewed in the presence of his attorney, and after interviewing suspects from the State Attorney has been issued for detention and the same has been submitted to detention for 48 hours.
